Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (the "Bank" or "ADIB") offers a range of banking services ("Rise Banking Services") for the customers of the Bank in accordance with  the terms and conditions of Rise Banking Service specified below (the “Terms and Conditions of Rise Banking Services") which form an integral part of the General Terms and Conditions for Accounts and Islamic Banking Services (“Terms and Conditions" )

1. Rise Banking Services Eligibility

   The customer has the right to be eligible for Rise Banking Services if, and as long as, he/she complies with and remain in compliance with one of the following criteria:

   1. the aggregate average monthly balances of the daily closing balances of all customer’s saving investment and/or current accounts is not less than one hundred thousand (AED 100,000(Dirhams.
   2. Transferring a monthly salary no less than twenty thousand (20,000) Dirhams each month to any of the customer is current or saving investment accounts with the Bank, the type of which is selected by the customer at his / her absolute discretion.
2. Periodical Review of Customer Relationship
   The banking relationship with the customers shall be reviewed every three (3) months to determine the customers that are qualified to be / to continue to be Rise Banking Service customers.
3. Upgrade, Continuation or Downgrade Mechanism for Rise Banking Services.
   1. Upgrade to/ continuity in Rise Banking Services
      In the event the customer fulfills, or continued to maintain any of the criteria stipulated in paragraph (A) or (B) of section (1) above, for a period of 2 months, consecutively or non-consecutively, out of the total review period of three(3) months, the customer will be eligible to be upgraded to/or to continue in Rise Banking Services category.
   2. Downgrade to Mass Segment
      If the customer has not continued to be in compliance with any of the criteria stipulated in Paragraph (A) or (B) of Section (1) above for a period of two (2) months consecutive or non-consecutive, of the total review period of three (3) months, he/she shall be downgraded to the mass segment and will be subject to all related applicable fees and charges to that segment, in accordance with the latest applicable fees and charges announced by the Bank through its channels.
      
      In the event of downgrade to mass segment, the customer shall no longer be entitled to avail any of the benefits and services offered to the Rise Banking Services segment, including preferential services and charges. However, the customer will continue to enjoy all the features of the Rise Banking Services debit card as long as it is valid and/ or not replaced.
4. Rise Banking Services customers will be subject to the applicable discounted fees and charges to this segment as announced by the Bank in its official channels.
5. ADIB reserves the rights, at its absolute discretion, to change, delete or add to any of Rise Banking Services Specific Terms and Conditions from time to time, including but not limited to changing / or amending Rise Banking Services or their applicable fees or change / amend the criteria for eligibility to Rise Banking Services from time to time, provided that the customer shall be notified in writing with a notice period of two (2) months before the effective date of these changes. Any utilization by the customer of any of Rise Banking Services, including the use of Rise Banking Services debit card shall be deemed as acceptance by the customer of these changes from the effective date.
6. ADIB reserves the rights to provide some of the services and benefits of Rise Banking Services segment via third party on behalf of ADIB and the Bank shall not be liable for any loss, damage, liability, cost or expense whether legal or otherwise arising under or as a result of the services and benefits of Rise segment provided by the third party, other than those damages that result from negligence or misconduct by ADIB or its third party represents ADIB; and in such case the liability of ADIB will be limited to actual losses only.
